It is fairly likely if you are reading this that, you have or are having trouble with sleep.
Sleep, is one of those mysterious things like hunger and breathing. Until you go without, you hardly know that it could be a problem. But, if you are unfortunate to be someone that is experiencing insomnia, you will know that it can rank up there as one of he most unpleasant things you can experience in life.
So who am I to be writing on this subject. Why read what I have to say over the numerous blogs, websites, YouTube channels and books out there? After all, I'm not a medical professional. How can I be of help?
Without going into too much detail of how and why - that may come later - the turning point for me was not, how can I get rid of insomnia? It was, what processes in my life can I change in order to help myself be a healthier happier person, and therefore as a result of that deal with these experiences more effectively?
Not sleeping is no fun. Not at all, especially when you have things to do and a busy life. But the process of improving your life step by step can be. It can transform your life from the standpoint of a victim mentality, to that of someone who has it within their power to make their life better.
This is therefore what I will share here. As a person that does and will probably experience days of no sleep in the future I can walk you through things that have helped me on my journey.
It should be noted at this point that mostly I will stay away from medical advice of any kind. Firstly sharing remedies natural or otherwise in my opinion doesn't work. Often enough the same remedy I can take 2 days in a row and have quite different effects, so among different people and circumstances there is little point in looking in this direction. Secondly it probably is a little dangerous. I have no experience in this area other than what I have taken and I wouldn't want anyone to take non expert advice. Besides, many people and websites are there for such things. This is for something completely different.
This is the place to come to help you feel better about yourself and the situations that you find yourself in. To know you are not alone, and that there are things that can be done to help. I will therefore share lifestyle and habit tips I have picked up. Ways of thinking and processes to change our mind set, things that can probably help even in other walks of life as they have done for me.
